The description in your bantext says that you have very bad lag. Bad lagging causes incidents because other racers cannot see you.

If you have it fixed you are most welcome to return.

Bandwidth is not the only parameter. Packet loss and respond time is probably the issue. Off course, if you are downloading torrents at full pace, it will cause you to lag due to bandwidth bottlenecking. I usally set a 50% limit on the bandwidth consumption when running µTorrent in the background while playing.

6 Mbit/s dial-up? Modern dial-up connections using V.90 or V.92 achieve at best 50 kbit/s, although V.44 with compression can go as high as 320 kbit/s. My bet is he got ADSL or cable.

Yes, but the wireless router is connected to the internet somehow. Whos internet connection and wireless router is it? Or is it a open wireless router (no password required) you found by random in your neighbourhood?

If you're not the only one using that wireless router, chances are that from time to time, other people are using all the bandwidth.
