I'm quite new to LFS, having only started playing this year.

What mods do you guys use? Textures, sounds, etc?

I've installed the Hi-Res DB Pack, and Gill's sound packs. I've also get the ENB dll to add motion blur and bloom.

But having seen the videos in the videos thread, there's clearly more stuff can be had to make LFS more aesthetic. Perhaps reflections?

What mods have you guys got installed? And more importantly, what mods are allowed and won't get me banned? :p

just browse the ofc. forum for new mods and choose what you like, there are interesting things to try out
i'm not sure which mods arent allowed or will result in a perma ban, the best thing is not to use unofficial mods which havent been posted in the ofc. forum. if you use mods from external websites, dont be an idiot and post pictures using them on the ofc. forum

VOB mods and changes to the executable (of course) will lead to automatic CPW ban's.

what kind of custom sounds for the gtr are you using ?
been searching for a couple, but only found a decent one for the fzr,
still looking for a nice sound for the fxr, like litro's video version when lomp flipped the car in gtal race

My engine sounds are strange when using other restrictions than Airio GT2. FX2 and FZ2 are mostly just minor adjustments, but my XR2 sound is (in my opinion off course) much better than the default one.

reflection pack i think is: generetic from latest pack of Lynce.
patch y tyres & sidewalls by ??? "got the falken logo so i guess its from a member of Falken drift team
fxo/fxr bmw m3 serie front lights and custom rearlights
xr cars has custom interior with lights and all that
xfg is dark textures and with "glowing" front lights

sound pack is 3,5years so it has like everyting that has been posted on lfsforums. tho is Gills work the best for everycar excluded fz5 & xrt. thoes is from a friend within Falken.
